My name is Jacqui and By Hand Melbourne is an educational art program purposefully designed to enable students to connect, explore, respond and discover the rich experience of art making. At By Hand, the principles of inquiry learning enable an artistic process that seeks to question, challenge, engage critical thinking and problem solve.

I have fifteen years teaching experience at Primary and Secondary levels, and am currently employed at an International Baccalaureate Primary School. Previously I was a product designer in the fashion industry.

Throughout my career, I have maintained a love of design and passion for teaching the Visual Arts. By Hand is a vision to live a life that encourages connection through the visual arts and validates meaningful individual expression. By Hand art programs focus on developing a creative, personal and bespoke art experience for every student.
